Not a usual Vijay flick with one-liners and masala. But definitely a treat for Vijay fans. A completely different Vijay who is calm and not his usual loud self. Average music score and not much in the humor side too. Jayaram provides a little bit of comic relief. On the whole an entertainer that keeps you going.

This Diwali revenge will be funny! And yes funny it is. Splendid performance by everyone and the movie keeps you going. The entire theater was laughing all the way till the end. Definitely Ajay Devgn has a second winner this year after Bol Bachchan.

And the biggest surprise in the movie - SALMAN KHAN !!!!!!!!!

Though the movie has a few weak spots here and there it does entertain you. Pretty decent performance from the main stars. Anushka shines the most though. As far as the music is concerned we don't get to see any magic from AR Rahman.

Apart from the trailer soundtrack and "Challa",  the rest of the music is just a passable fare.

To the man who thought an entire generation to "fall in love"(as my friend would always say), its quite an entertainer this Diwali.

A poor film compared to KV Anand's previous works "Ayan" and "Ko". Passable songs. Impressive performance from Surya. A weak script gets this movie too down like his previous work "7am Arivu".

A worth watch animation after a very long time with disappointments like Ice Age 4 and Madagascar 3 this year. It turned out to be better than last weeks Hotel Transylvania.

Alcoholic

Travelling to Calicut city with my aunt. Talking to her about how life is so different in Kerala and USA.

We were on-way to watch a movie and to do some shopping for her.

For some reason we were sitting in front of a huge building filled with movie posters. It had posters from Grandmaster, Spirit, Ustad Hotel, Bachelor Party and the Onam releases like Run Babby Run, Mr. Marumakan, Thapanna etc.

Suddenly this drunk guy comes next to me and asks for 10Rs to drink. And i deny him the money. He reaches out for my pocket in an attempt to take the money out.

I push him back and fight him off.

Take a shot

A wild torrid affair was going on between Dal and Sherri. He was booked into room 1205 on the 12th floor of The Ritz.

She had just left and he was standing on the balcony in his boxers. Sipping on a 60ml of Chivas Regal 25years.

In comes Natz, his close friend of years and ex-flame. They had a mutual understanding between them and loved each other a lot though she was single and he remained with multiple women.

His back was turned against her and he was looking out at the city. She called him "Dal". He turns to see her pointing a gun at him.

The glass drops and he shouts "Natz, NO!!!"

2 shots fired fired.

One hits him on his shoulder and the other grazes his right thigh. He falls over the balcony. Being a skilled ex-army man he grabs the rail of the 8th floor balcony while falling down. Jumps into the room and makes his way into the hotel, injured.

Runs back up to the 12th floor to understand what just happened to know why Natz of all the people.

As he gets back to 1205, he sees Natz on the floor in a pool of blood. He runs upto her and asks "Why, Natz, Why???"

She whispers "Please save Dad", with tears flowing down from her eyes.

She pulls Dal close to her and kisses him for one last time and says "I've always loved you"

He shuts her eyes, trying to understand what exactly her she meant by "SAVE DAD".

He too loved her a lot but could never commit to her due to his insecurities. But that was out of point now, he needed to understand what this was all about.

So many unanswered questions. Why would Natz of all the people shoot him, Who would kill her, Were is her dad and what happened to him, Who is behind all this?
